CMKE Executive Board Meeting

Springfield, Missouri

There are several items on the agenda, as usual, not the least of which is the need to elect new officers this year for July installation. If you are a member willing to serve, please let us know. If you have anything you would like your exec board to address at this meeting, please send us an email on the "Contact Us" page.

Please consider serving on the Executive Board this year. We need your ideas and input in order to serve our members effectively and to make our organization YOUR organization!

Saturday workshop at SWACDA Conference

Kansas City, Missouri

OAKE members will be able to attend the day's events at a reduced rate. The day's events include several children's concerts and our presenter, Susan Tevis. CMKE will be co-sponsoring the day's events.

April 19, 2008

CMKE Annual Children's Choir Festival

Warrensburg, Missouri

OAKE members may register and bring students to the festival. The director will be Kathleen Pottinger from St. Louis. There will be one choir consisting of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Teachers may bring a maximum of ten students and may submit names of four alternates - ALL submissions must have balanced numbers of altos and sopranos.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The concert will be at approximately 3:00 p.m. Cost per child is $15 and includes the expense of a clinician, accompanist, snack and T-shirt. Entry forms will be included in the February CMKE newsletter. If you would like an entry form but do not receive our newsletter, please send your contact information to us through the "Contact Us" section of the site.
